Outdoor Adventures

It began with Adventure....

For years Mike and Joe Ann trail-blazed the most adventurous pursuits available on Negros Oriental.  A reputation for excellence secured the popularity of our Dauin Beach Resort but their hearts remain adventurous!

If you are looking for real excitement to add to your diving,we can arrange tours conducted by local partners whom we certify as meeting standards of safety and enjoyment.

Negros Oriental is a beautiful mountainous island with both active and dormant volcanoes.  While comfortably developed and generally accessible we know where to find virgin tropical forests, awesome waterfalls, beautiful lakes -- and plenty of caves.

Canyoning

Starting off with a strenuous hike to earn your ‘gravity assist’.  This is a wet and wild day of jumping and frolicking your way down the mountain.  The adrenaline starts flowing on the the first abseil down a 30 meter waterfall.  Many splashes and smiles later your day closes with well earned refreshments.   You’ll need to look hard to find a day as thrilling as this one !

Mountain Biking

The cool mountain village of Valencia has awesome trails for beginner to intermediate bikers and offers a fascinating peek into the lifestyle of the villagers here.  Experienced Bikers may choose more challenging options on advanced jungle trails.  Tours all end with a downhill sprint to the Dauin Beach Resort.

Lakes and Waterfalls

With a number of lakes and waterfalls to choose from we can pick the best daytrip for your group. They are all up in the beautiful mountain rain forest. Wonderful spots for a quiet lunch.

Spelunking and Caving

Negros has some of the longest cave systems in the Philippines and many of the most enjoyable.  We can introduce you to this new style of adventuring while visiting wide-open cathedrals -- or excite you with tough crawls into the rarely visited portions of these magnificent underworlds.  Our favorite starts by abseiling into an underground river with a 12 meter waterfall and a surprise exit you won’t forget
